dont know how many times i need to say this......THERE IS NO BEST PET. but there are 3 talents for pets, and every pet belongs to 1 of those trees.

these are all the Tenacity (tanking) pets. all Tenacity pets have increased health(10%%) and armor(5%%) but no increase to damage.

Gotta say this about the guy above me. Worms are also ExoticsDevilsaur. Amazing DPS and tank. And ferocity so it will heal itself and rez itself once every 10 min.
