I DPS in Karazhan for my guild, and I easily keep up with everyone around me. My gear israptast but Ian still push 700 DPS, and if I'm not #1 in damage done I have yet to be more than 2-3% off of the top spot. I'm also situationally useful in fights like Shade. I'm in aaster group with all of the healers and usually either a Mage or Warlk, so I provide ToW, WoA, and MS totems for them. My name is Gaudion, and I'm an Elemental Shaman. What's your game?
my game is stomping gnome mages :D and yeah elemental has the better dps of the sps due to it's reded threatreation espially now with the new lit overload ( thataused some problems for me) while enh has benefitted from the addition 15% threat redtion addition to spirit weapons(now 30%) so all in all it's just gear and shk rotation dependant :D on my shammy I just managed to pk up rage and fury but I'm not going to resp quite yet sie my enh gear in general doesn't live up to my elemental gears ownage, and the ft that I love to see big numbers
I getlose to the top 5 as an Elemental Shaman in the raids I partate in. I'm still rather new to the raiding show, but I'm definitelyompeting with the other hunters and rogues. I'm quite proud of the numbers Ian put up, the offhealing Ian do, and the buffs Ian put down.
I tell you what they like about us. Our totems :) Wean boost the group's DPS VERY signifantly. In some instaes, the tremor totem is VERY useful (e.g. SLABS). Sometimes, grounding, and often, Heroism (last burst phase in some bosses). I'm a Ele DPS shaman, and i hate healing =P (I find it very stressful.....an someone help me here? IMO, it's damm tough to see where is everybody, stay in range, heal in time, e. Arrgh) Oh, Ironally, it was "easier" to heal (though gear is bad) as Enh, ... why? Bause u dont have to worry about your heal targets being in range bause u are at theentre of tion. Everybody has to stay in range to hit the boss =)
