I have been grouped with fury warriors using a 2hander to tank in reg 5 mans with pvp gear and have absolutely no issues. There are norushing blows in 5 mans, hero or regular. It is easier to get urittable in pvp gear than pve gear. I think you only need 197 resil to be urittable in pve. Plus you will have tons of stam with the pvp gear. If you were talking about tanking raid instaes, then people would be justified in telling you to go sk a lemon with pvp gear, but for 5 mans, it is no problem at all.

wield is better than 2 handers2009-05-09 00:00:00I don't understand why duel wield is better than 2 handers for shaman when I have to spend like 6 talent points to get it (good). windfury only prs on main hand anyways, right? I'm stking with my 2 handed me. as for shields, I'monvied they are only useful for main tanks. Not sure how it will be in outlands, but for now I never use shields on any of my alts (my pally and warrior) unless main tanking.
I gear up to fit the situation. When soloing or dpsing in a group I use a me and shield, when healing a group, I use a high intelspirit staff.

goodhoe it also dramatally2009-05-05 00:00:00ahemyherbalism is a very goodhoe. it also dramatally lowers your raidingosts tailoring+something to earnash (herbalismminingskinning) is good for getting into the raiding enario, but you end up in a situation of refusing to upgrade your gear due to how mh you spent on theraftedrap. ehanting+something to ehash is a goodombo due to the ring ehants. and as said, engineeringmining is good for pvp and isontinuously being buffed for pve, so imo it's worth it for that too
